>> Dance & Doodle

Dance & Doodle is our summer program for young dancers aged 3-6 years of age.  No experience is necessary.

Dance and Doodle is a program specially designed by Early Childhood educator Roxanne Rachinski (B.Ed.) to introduce young children to the joyful art of dance. Through a variety of developmentally appropriate activities including stories, songs, movement, games and crafts, our unique program provides 90 minutes of
fun fun fun!

If your young one has a natural love for music and movement, likes to hear stories and enjoys simple crafts this program is definitely for him/her.

More about the program:

• August 9 - 13, 2010
• 9:30-11:00 am or 12:30-2:00 pm daily
• Nutritious snacks provided daily
• Each day features a different theme ranging from "Once Upon A Time" to "Dinosaurs".
• Simple daily craft projects are provided for the children.  All craft materials are supplied and cost is included in tuition.
• Students are encouraged to wear dance attire:
  Girls: bodysuit and tights or bobby socks
  Boys: t-shirt and shorts
• Dance slippers or clean soft soled shoes are recommended.
• Girls must wear long hair tied back in ponytails or a bun. Shorter hair can be held in place with barrettes or clips.

Students aged 6 - 8 years with a minimum of 1 year of dance experience.  Dancers will receive 4 hours of daily instruction in ballet, jazz, tap/musical theatre, hip hop & Ukrainian.

Week 2 (August 16 - 20): $ 225 + gst

>> Junior

Students aged 9 - 11 years with 2 - 3 years of dance experience.  Dancers will receive 5 hours of daily instruction in ballet, jazz, tap/musicl theatre, hip hop, lyrical & Ukrainian.

Week 2 (August 16 - 20): $ 290 + gst 

>> Intermediate

Students aged 12 - 15 years with 3 - 5 years dance experience.  Dancers will receive 6 hours of daily instruction in ballet, pre-ponte/pointe, jazz, tap/musical theatre, hip hop & lyrical.

Week 2 (August 16 - 20): $ 345 + gst

>> Senior

Students aged 15 years & over with a recommended 5 years dance experience.  Dancers will receive 2.5 hours of daily instruction in ballet & pointe.

Week 1 (August 9 - 13): $ 175 + gst

Week 2 (August 16 - 20): $ 175 + gst
